Das centro del bel libro ascona hat mit grossem Erfolg schon einige Male den internationalen Bucheinbandwettbewerb „Prix Paul Bonet“ durchgeführt.

Bei dessen Gründung stand dieser, auf anspruchsvollem Niveau angesiedelte Wettbewerb allein auf weiter Flur. Inzwischen gibt es zahlreiche ähnliche Veranstaltungen. Aus diesem Grunde ist 2003 der Wettbewerb des centro del bel libro ascona neu positioniert und gleichzeitig für den bisherigen Schweizer Wettbewerb der Stiftung zur Förderung des Bucheinbandes (SfB) für Auszubildende im Buchbindergewerbe eine neue Plattform geschaffen worden.

Der Wettbewerb bel libro 2009 will Innovation auszeichnen, welche hinsichtlich Gestaltung, Technik und Funktion qualitativ überzeugen, und neue Wege in der Handbuchbinderei aufzeigen.

Die bereits zweite Durchführung ist für das Jahr 2009 vorgesehen. Gleichzeitig findet der 10. Internationale Lehrlingswettbewerb SfB statt. Der Austragungsort für beide Wettbewerbe ist Ascona.

Einzubinden ist ein von den Organisatoren extra für den neuen Wettbewerb „bel libro 2009“ ausgesuchtes und gedrucktes Buch. Dieser Band wird in losen Bogen zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Text des Werkes ist „Cornet“ von Rainer Maria Rilke in drei Sprachen (Deutsch, Französisch und Englisch). Es handelt sich hier um eine spezielle Ausgabe des Kranich-Verlages. Die Gestaltung und der Druck erfolgen in einem durch seine Qualitätsarbeiten bekannten Schweizer Betrieb.

Die Preisverleihung und die Vernissage der ersten Ausstellung wird in Ascona erfolgen.

Anschliessend sind weitere Ausstellungen geplant.

Das centro del bel libro ascona hat schon einige Male internationale Bucheinbandwettbewerbe mit Erfolg durchgeführt und erstmals mit dem Wettbewerb bel libro 2003 neue Wege beschritten.
2009 findet der zweite internationale Wettbewerb bel libro statt. Bucheinbandschaffende weltweit sind zur Teilnahme eingeladen. Auszubildende sind am bel libro 2009 nicht zugelassen. Sie haben die Möglichkeit am gleichzeitig stattfindenden Internationalen Lehrlingswettbewerb der Stiftung zur Förderung des Bucheinbandes (SfB).  Dieser Wettbewerb findet ebenfalls in Ascona statt.
Der Wettbewerb will Innovationen präsentieren, welche hinsichtlich Gestaltung, Technik und Funktion qualitativ überzeugen und neue Wege in der Handbuchbinderei aufzeigen.

Bewertungskriterien sind: Innovative Technik, Innovative Funktion, Innovative Gestaltung

Für alle bewerteten Arbeiten wird eine Teilnahmebestätigung abgegeben. Jeder Preisträger erhält ein Diplom.
Es können max. zwei Bücher zur Bewertung eingereicht werden. Versicherung und Rückversand der Bücher sind im Teilnahmepreis inbegriffen. Die bestellten Werke werden nach Ablauf der Anmeldefrist und Eingang der Zahlung zugestellt.

Die Beurteilung erfolgt durch eine Internationale Jury unter der Leitung von Hans Burkhardt.

Innovationspreis:
Für die Preisträger steht eine Gesamtsumme von CHF 15'000.00 zur Verfügung. Insgesamt werden höchstens 5% der bewerteten Bucheinbände mit dem Innovationspreis ausgezeichnet.

Die Preisverleihung findet voraussichtlich am 13. Juni 2009 in Ascona statt.

Die definitive Anmeldung hat bis am 30. August 2008 zu erfolgen und soll folgende Angaben enthalten:
Name, Vorname, Jahrgang, Beruf, genaue Adresse, Telefon Nr., E Mail, Anzahl Bücher.

Premio innovativo del centro del bel libro ascona

Il centro del bel libro Ascona, ha già organizzato con grande successo, il concorso internazionale rilegatura di libri „Prix Paul Bonet“.

Quando fu creato questo concorso di un livello veramente notevole, non esistevano ancora manifestazioni di questo genere. Con il trascorrere del tempo invece, vennero creati numerosi concorsi simili e per questo motivo, a partire dal 2003, il concorso del centro del bel libro Ascona  spostò la sua postazione e contemporaneamente creò una nuova piattaforma per l’allora concorso svizzero della fondazione per l’incremento della rilegatura di libri (SfB) per apprendisti del ramo della rilegatura di libri.

Il concorso bel libro 2009, vuole premiare l’innovazione più convincente nella creatività, tecnica e funzionalità e che mostri inoltre nuove vie nella rilegatura artigianale.

L’esecuzione della seconda edizione è prevista per l’anno 2009. Contemporaneamente vi sarà il 10.mo concorso internazionale degli apprendisti (SfB) ed entrambi i concorsi avranno luogo ad Ascona.

Vi è da rilegare un libro stampato, scelto appositamente dall’organizzazione per il nuovo concorso “bel libro 2009”. Questo volume viene messo a disposizione sotto forma di fogli sciolti. Il testo dell’opera, disponibile nelle lingue tedesco, francese ed inglese, è “Cornet” di Rainer Maria Rilke. Si tratta di un’edizione speciale della casa editrice Kranich. L’impostazione e la stampa vengono eseguiti in un’azienda svizzera, conosciuta per l’esecuzione di lavori di alta qualità.

La premiazione e la presentazione della prima esposizione avranno luogo ad Ascona.

Premio innovativo del centro del bel libro ascona

Il centro del bel libro ascona ha già organizzato alcune volte, e con grande successo, concorsi internazionali per la rilegatura di libri. Con il concorso bel libro 2003 ha percorso per la prima volta una nuova via.
Nel 2009 avrà luogo per la seconda volta il concorso internazionale bel libro al quale gli apprendisti non sono però ammessi in quanto hanno comunque la possibilità di partecipare al concorso internazionale per apprendisti, della fondazione per l’incremento della rilegatura di libri (SfB), che viene proposto contemporaneamente. Anche questo concorso avrà luogo ad Ascona.

Il concorso vuole presentare le innovazioni più convincenti qualitativamente per ciò che riguarda la creatività, la tecnica e la funzionalità e che ne mostrino vie nuove nella rilegatura artigianale.

Criteri di valutazione sono: la tecnica innovativa, la funzione innovativa, realizzazione/progettazione innovativa

Vi è da rilegare un’opera, scelta appositamente dagli organizzatori per il concorso “bel libro 2009”. Il testo dell’opera, in tre lingue, si chiama “Cornet” di Rainer Maria Rilke. Si tratta di un’edizione speciale della casa editrice Kranich. Il volume viene messo a disposizione sotto forma di fogli sciolti.

Per tutte le opere giudicate, verrà emessa una conferma di partecipazione e ogni premiato riceverà un diploma.

Possono essere inoltrati al massimo due libri a persona. L’assicurazione e la rispedizione dei libri sono incluse nel costo di partecipazione. Le opere ordinate, verranno recapitate dopo il termine d’iscrizione e dopo il ricevimento dell’importo sopra menzionato.

La valutazione delle opere verrà effettuata da una giuria internazionale, sotto la presidenza di Hans Burkhardt.

Premio innovativo
I premiati riceveranno una somma globale di Fr. 15'000.00. Complessivamente verrà premiato con il premio innovativo al massimo il 5% delle rilegature valutate.

La premiazione avrà luogo con ogni probabilità il 13 giugno 2009 ad Ascona.

L’iscrizione definitiva dovrà essere inoltrata entro il 30 agosto 2008 e deve contenere i seguenti dati:

Prize for Innovation, centro del bel libro ascona

The centro del bel libro has held the international bookbinding competition “Prix Paul Bonet” (Paul Bonnet Prize) several times, and has proved very successful.

The “Prix Paul Bonet”, known for its high standards, was one of the first competitions of its kind, but other similar events emerged in the meantime and in 2003, the bel libro competition was newly positioned. At the same time, the former Swiss competition from the Foundation for the Sponsorship of Bookbinding created a new platform for apprentices in the craft of bookbinding.

The bel libro competition 2009 wishes to present innovations which assure a high quality of design, technique and function. It also wants to define new paths in the field of bookbinding.

The second bel libro competition as well as the 10^th international competition for apprentices SfB will be held in 2009. The venue for both competitions is Ascona.

The book to be bound was chosen by the members of this organisation and specially printed for the bel libro competition 2009. The text block comes in loose sections. The work entitled “Cornet” is from Rainer Maria Rilke and is printed in three languages (German, French and English) as a special edition published by Kranich. The text design and print will be carried out by a Swiss company known for its high-quality works.

The award ceremony and private viewing of the first exhibition will be held in Ascona.

The centro del bel libro held numerous international bookbinding competitions in the past, all of which proved successful. In order to pursue a new direction, this was replaced by the bel libro competition in 2003.

The second international bel libro competition will now be held in 2009 and professional bookbinders worldwide are invited to participate. For the bel libro 2009, apprentices will not be allowed to participate, but may enter the international competition for apprentices, which will be held simultaneously. The competition will be organized by the Foundation for the sponsorship of Bookbinding (SfB). Both competitions take place in Ascona.

The bel libro competition wishes to present innovations, assuring the quality of design, technique and function, and to also show new directions in the field of hand bookbinding.

Set of criteria: innovative technique; innovative function; innovative design.

The book to be bound was chosen by the members of the bel libro organisation and specially printed for the 2009 competition. The work is by Rainer Maria Rilke, entitled “Cornet” and printed in three languages. It is a special edition published by Kranich. The text block comes in loose sections.

Included in the fee are a confirmation of participation for all the judged bindings, a diploma for every award winner as well as, insurance and the cost of returning the book.

A maximum of two books can be entered for judging. The ordered books will be sent after receipt of application and payment.

Assessment will be by an international jury under the supervision of Hans Burkhardt.

Prize for Innovation:
A total prize sum of CHF 15’000 is available. A maximum 5% of all entries will receive this award.

Prix à l’innovation du centro del bel libro ascona

Le centro del bel libro ascona a déjà organisé à maintes reprises et avec un succès retentissant le concours international de reliure «Prix Paul Bonet».

Lors de sa création, le niveau exigeant du concours a été vivement apprécié. Entre-temps, de nombreuses autres manifestations se sont déroulées. Raison pour laquelle le centro del bel libro ascona a repositionné le concours en 2003, et en même temps créé une nouvelle plateforme pour l’ancien concours de la Fondation suisse pour la promotion de la reliure (SfB) pour les apprentis relieurs.

Le concours bel libro 2009 veut récompenser l’innovation, en ce qui concerne la conception, la technique et la fonction qualité, et dévoiler ainsi de nouvelles voies pour la reliure artisanale.

La mise en œuvre de cette deuxième édition est prévue pour l’année 2009. Parallèlement est organisé le 10^e concours international SfB des apprentis. Le point de ralliement de ces deux concours est Ascona.

A l’occasion de ce nouveau concours «bel libro 2009», les organisateurs ont sélectionné un livre imprimé particulier. Cet ouvrage se présente sous forme de fiches qui peuvent être disposées librement. Le texte de l’œuvre est «Cornet» de Rainer Maria Rilke en trois langues (allemand, français et anglais). Il s’agit ici d’une contribution spéciale des Editions Kranich. La conception et l’impression sont effectuées par l’une des entreprises suisses les plus réputées pour ses travaux de qualité.

La cérémonie de remise des prix et le vernissage de la première exposition aura lieu à Ascona. D’autres expositions sont prévues ultérieurement.

En 2009 se déroulera le deuxième concours international «bel libro». Les relieurs du monde entier sont invités à y participer. Par contre, les apprentis sont exclus du «bel libro 2009»; ils ont la possibilité de participer au concours international des apprentis de la Fondation suisse pour la promotion de la reliure (SfB) qui a lieu à la même période. Ce concours se déroulera également à Ascona.
Le concours veut mettre l’accent sur l’innovation, en ce qui concerne la conception, la technique et la fonction qualité, et dévoiler ainsi de nouvelles voies pour la reliure artisanale.

Les critères d’évaluation sont: technique novatrice, fonction novatrice, conception novatrice.

Une attestation de participation est remise pour tous les travaux évalués. Chaque lauréat reçoit un diplôme.

Deux ouvrages au maximum peuvent être soumis à évaluation. L’assurance et le renvoi des livres sont inclus dans les frais de participation. Les ouvrages sont remis dans le délai de participation et selon l’enregistrement du paiement.

L’évaluation sera effectuée par un jury international placé sous la direction de Hans Burkhardt.

Prix à l’innovation:
Une somme globale de CHF 15'000 est mise à disposition des lauréats. Dans l’ensemble, 5% maximum des reliures évaluées seront récompensées par le prix à l’innovation.

La cérémonie de remise des prix aura lieu vraisemblablement le 13 juin 2009 à Ascona.

Concurso Internacional de Encuadernación

Premio a la innovación del centro del bel libro ascona

El centro del bel libro ascona ha organizado repetidas veces y con gran éxito el concurso internacional de encuadernación “Prix Paul Bonet”.

Cuando este concurso de alto nivel fué creado, era el único que existía en esa área. Entre tanto se realizan numerosos concursos similares. Por este motivo, el concurso del centro del bel libro ascona fue reposicionado en 2003 y, al mismo tiempo, se creó una plataforma para el Concurso Suizo de la Fundación para la Promoción de la Encuadernación (SfB) para Apréndices Encuadernadores.

El objetivo del concurso bel libro 2009 es premiar la innovación, que convenza en cuanto a la calidad de la elaboración, la técnica y la función y que muestre alternativas nuevas en la encuadernación manual.

La segunda realización está prevista para el año 2009. Simultáneamente se efectuará el décimo Concurso Internacional para los Apréndices SfB. Ascona será la sede de ambos concursos.

La tarea consiste en encuadernar un libro que ha sido especialmente impreso y escogido por los organizadores para el nuevo concurso “bel libro 2009”. El tomo se pondrá a disposición en hojas sueltas. El texto de la obra es “Cornet” de Rainer Maria Rilke, escrito en tres idiomas (alemán, francés e inglés). Se trata de una edición especial de la Editorial Kranich. La elaboración y la impresión se realizarán en una empresa suiza reconocida por la calidad de su trabajo.

La premiación y la inaguración de la primera presentación se realizarán en Ascona.

Se planen exposiciones posteriores.

El centro del bel libro ascona ha organizado en repetidas ocasiones y con gran éxito, concursos internacionales de encuadernación. Con el concurso bel libro 2003 abrió nuevos caminos.
En el 2009 se realizará el segundo concurso internacional bel libro. Los encuadernadores de todos los continentes están invitados a participar. Los aprendices no podrán participar en el bel libro 2009, sin embargo tendrán la posibilidad de participar en el Concurso Internacional para Apréndices de la Fundación para la  Promoción de la Encuadernación (SfB) que se realizará simultáneamente. Este concurso se realizará también en Ascona.
El concurso desea presentar innovaciones que convenzan en cuanto a la calidad de la elaboración, la técnica y la función y que muestren alternativas nuevas en la encuadernación manual.

Todos los trabajos evaluados obtendrán un certificado de participación y cada premiado recibirá  un diploma.

Para la evaluación podrán presentarse un máximo de dos libros. El seguro y el reenvío de los libros están incluidos en la cuota de participación. Las obras solicitadas serán enviadas después de la expiración del plazo de inscripción y de la recepción del pago.

Un jurado internacional, bajo la dirección de Hans Burkhardt evaluará los trabajos.

El premio a la innovación:
Para los premiados se dispone de un total de Francos Suizos 15`000.00. En total un máximo de 5% de las encuadernaciones evaluadas serán premiadas con el premio a la innovación.

La entrega de premios está prevista para el 13 de junio del 2009 en Ascona.

El plazo para la inscripción definitiva se cierra el 30 de agosto del 2008. La inscripción deberá contener los siguientes datos:
apellido, nombre, fecha de nacimiento, profesión, dirección, número de teléfono, e-mail y la cantidad de los libros.
Los libros deberán ser enviados hasta el 16 de marzo del 2009.
